JDubs Brewing Company was founded in Sarasota, Florida, in 2013 by Jeremy Joerger and Ron Petrini. The brewery quickly gained popularity in the local craft beer scene for its innovative and unique offerings. Over the years, JDubs Brewing Company expanded its distribution to other regions of Florida and beyond, becoming a well-known name in the craft beer industry. The brewery gained a loyal following of beer enthusiasts who appreciated the company’s dedication to producing top-notch beers.
JDubs Brewing Company continued to grow and innovate, releasing new and exciting beer styles that caught the attention of both consumers and industry experts. Due to unfortunate events, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020 while continuing to produce and sell its popular beers. This spring, the bankruptcy court approved an order selling the business to Ybor City Brewing Company, which is working to strengthen the relationship with existing retail sellers like Publix, Total Wine and Spirits, and numerous local bars and restaurants.
JDubs will begin producing JDubs Ybor City Vodka Seltzer this May and will begin marketing all of its products in the Tampa Bay Area, focusing on Ybor City.
